Children’s Book Illustrations

The moment I knew I wanted to pursue a career in art, a prominent goal of mine was to illustrate a children’s book. To this day I appreciate the influence my childhood books had on me growing up, particularly the illustrations. I remember losing myself in the illustrated worlds and would study every detail in earnest.

When I was hired to illustrate a series of children’s books touching on powerful themes like empathy, gratitude, confidence, and mindfulness I felt like I had won the jackpot. The entire process was an incredible experience and taught me a lot about both the publishing world and myself. I worked closely with the editor and author to produce an integral product with positive reviews that reflect all the hard work that went into this project.
